To sync your subscription status across multiple platforms (Android, iOS, macOS, etc.)
If you use CapyPlayer on a single device, you don't need to create an account or login.
How the App Works
CapyPlayer runs entirely on your device:
- All media files are processed and played locally on your device
- Playlists and playback settings are stored only on your device
- Media server connections (Plex, Emby, Jellyfin) are direct from your device
- Your authentication credentials are stored securely and only used for subscription sync
Data Security
We protect your limited data with industry-standard security practices:
- All API communications are encrypted with HTTPS
- Authentication tokens are securely stored on your device
- We only store the minimum information needed for subscription management
- Your media files and viewing data never leave your device
Third-Party Services
CapyPlayer uses the following third-party authentication services only if you choose to login:
