How to connect CapyPlayer to Jellyfin

CapyPlayer works with Jellyfin servers so you can browse your self-hosted library and play media from your devices.

Requirements

• A Jellyfin server reachable from the device.
• Jellyfin username and password.
• Server host, port, and protocol.

Setup

1. Open CapyPlayer.
2. Go to Resources and add a remote resource.
3. Choose Jellyfin.
4. Enter the host, port, account, password, and HTTPS option.
5. Save and open your Jellyfin libraries.

Troubleshooting

• Make sure the Jellyfin server URL is reachable from the device.
• Check firewall and reverse proxy settings.
• Verify that the Jellyfin user has library access.
