How to connect CapyPlayer to Plex

CapyPlayer lets you use your Plex library with a dedicated cross-platform media player for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.

Requirements

• A Plex server available on your network or remote address.
• A Plex account with access to the target libraries.
• Server address and connection details.

Setup

1. Open CapyPlayer and go to Resources.
2. Add a new remote resource.
3. Select Plex.
4. Enter your Plex server information and sign in.
5. Open the library and start playback.

Troubleshooting

• Confirm the server is online in the Plex dashboard.
• Check that your account has permission to view the library.
• Use HTTPS when your Plex server is exposed through a secure domain.
